9 1/4” blade, 1 1/2”
wide, 1/4” stock. Design derived from a Sheffield Bowie made by George Wostenholm about 1836-1840, and shown as Fig.
38 in Harold Peterson’s book, “American Knives”. Walnut is standard handle material. Available with polished
stag or genuine ivory at extra cost. Mounts are nickel silver. A very handsome and popular Bowie design.

Blade 10 1/2” x 2”, 5/16” stock. Concave shape, walnut
handle; curved nickel silver guard, scalloped collar, butt cap and handle pins standard. With variations in deference to copyright
consideration, this is a replica of the knife used on the movie, THE IRON MISTRESS. Also available with flat ground and/or
11” blade.
We had to include this knife because it is the one which “lit Don’s fire”
regarding the Bowie knife in 1952, and finally led him into the world of bladesmithing. For him, this has been, and will remain,
his personal “Iron Mistress”.
